Make the Memories Last

One of the reasons I love photography so much is the fact that I get to help people preserve their memories. A photo can immortalize a moment, in a sense. A person's special moments can sometimes be so filled with emotion, so momentous, so memorable... and then it's gone. Moments are so instantaneous, so fleeting. A photo, however, can capture that moment, freezing it in time. Every time you see a photo of that moment again, you can embrace it again. Relive it, so to speak. That's why wedding photography is so important. A wedding day rushes by so fast. It's hard to remember all the little details. Sometimes it's not even humanly possible to see all the sweet little moments that happen on that special day. A well made photograph makes it possible to remember that day for the rest of your life. And it doesn't stop there either, photos are the main means of passing on memories to our children - and grandchildren. I was reminded of this when I saw a Kodak commercial on YouTube. Check it out below. It really makes you take a second thought about the importance photography place in the roll of preserving our life's memories, experiences and special moments. Enjoy!
